Author Guidelines

All papers should be submitted electronically, preferably in Microsoft Word or OpenOffice. Papers should be written in English.

Submission Preparation Checklist

All submissions must meet the following requirements.

  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice or Microsoft Word document file format.

  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in How to submit a manuscript and in the IJAM Style Guide. Any error in quotations or in the bibliography will be the sole responsibility of the author.

  • Any information that could identify the authors’ identity has been removed : authors have removed their name within the article, footnotes, references and document properties. For more information on how to remove identifying information, read the Author and Reviewer Guide available in the 'How to submit a manuscript' at https://gestiondesarts.hec.ca/ijam/ .

  • The submission is typewritten and double-spaced, 12-point, Times New Roman type, double-spaced with margins of one inch. Tables, short biographies (50-to-60 word), figures, appendices, and any other graphics or illustrations (with a clear and accurate copyright line) are placed at the very end of the manuscript, after the references. The author indicated where each of these is to appear in the published article.

Copyright Notice

The authors agree to have their article to be published in the International Journal of Arts Management and to transfer their copyright to the review, meaning the publisher will have the exclusive right to publish the article throughout the world. They guaranty that their article is original and has not been published previously.


They declare that all the persons named as co-author are aware and have agreed to the copyright release.


They understand that as author they retain the right to republish this contribution subject to notifying the Publisher and to ensuring that the publication by the Publisher is properly credited and that the relevant copyright notice is repeated.

The names and email addresses entered in this journal site will be used exclusively for the stated purposes of this journal and will not be made available for any other purpose or to any other party.
